Trance Video

trance music is one of many different varieties of electronic music, like house or techno. The defining feature of trance however, is its fast tempo and extended drum beats. In fact, the music was supposed to have caused a trance like altered state of consciousness in its listeners and thus got its name. Several trance DJs put out records starting with experimental music using sequencers and later evolving into full fledged trance music. With some beats borrowed from house music, trance soon became popular as dance music during the late 80’s and the early 90’s.
The popularity can be attributed to the fact that trance video was considered sharper than house while being more melodic than techno. This has attracted a wide variety of audience, even those who couldn’t tolerate fast beats soon became fans of the trance mix. As trance music became famous as a good choice for dance music, several DJs got into the act putting out more records and making an emotional appeal to the masses. This soon led to the emergence of new sub-genres and the diversification of trance music. Each sub-genre had its own set of fans who were drawn to the niche offerings each had to give.
